Cream chest (SOLD)

Yet another beauty.  This is one SOLID piece of furniture, folks!  Maple all the way.

I really love the pulls on this one - if you look closely, the detail on them is amazing.

Also love the lines across the bottom, and the detailing of the top two drawers.

All five drawers on this sweet chest are dovetailed and work like a dream. I've painted it in a deep cream color, given it a distressed finish, and coated it with clear wax as a protectant.  Measurements are 46'' tall x 34'' long x 20'' deep and it's priced at $395 (SOLD).

Antique bow-front chest on chest (SOLD)

Yet another piece that I'm really excited about - I was thrilled to find it a couple of weeks ago!  This lovely bow-front chest on chest is the companion of the antique dresser I just posted.  Such an amazing piece.

I am a sucker for a bow-front piece - throw in hardware like this one has, and I'm basically swooning.  Is that sad?  :-)

The hardware deserves its very own photo.  Just gorgeous.

See the curve to the top three drawers?

And all of that gorgeous detailing.  LOVE.

I've painted this antique chest in a lovely deep cream color, with distressing and clear wax for protection.  It measures 54 1/2'' tall x 34'' long x 18'' deep and is priced at $450 (SOLD).  You won't be disappointed with this one - it's a real charmer.

Antique dresser in Old White (SOLD)

This one, folks, is something special.  :-)

When I find a dresser like this one, I feel like I've hit the furniture painting jackpot.  :-)  It has everything I look for in an antique piece.  Amazing details.  Great solid construction.  Dovetailed drawers. GORGEOUS original hardware.  It's got it all.

Isn't the detailing amazing?  I love every bit of it.

And the hardware.  Oh, the HARDWARE!  ;-)

All four drawers in this dresser are quite long and provide ample storage space.  I see this piece as the changing table to end all changing tables.  :-)  Or as a gorgeous entertainment center holding a flat screen television in a family room.  In a foyer, or bedroom, or even as a sideboard in a dining room.  It's that perfect size - great for so many uses.

I've painted this piece in Old White, with a distressed finish and clear wax for protection.  It measures 50'' long x 36'' tall x 21'' deep, and is priced at $430 (SOLD).  Can you picture it in your home?  I can.  Please don't tell my husband. ;-)

Vintage dresser in Old White (SOLD)

For those of you waiting on a piece in Old White - this one's for you!  ;-)

This vintage dresser is a real classic - made of solid cherry and in excellent condition.  There are nine dovetailed drawers in all - so storage space is abundant!

It has great vintage hardware that's original to the piece.

I love the curves along the bottom.  :-)

I've painted this dresser in Old White and given it a distressed finish.  Clear wax gives both protection and a tiny bit of sheen. I think this piece would be perfect in a nursery, but would also be gorgeous in any bedroom.  You could even use it as a buffet, or in a family room with a flat screen on top.  I love a versatile piece of furniture! :-)   This one measures 56'' long x 34'' tall x 19'' deep and is priced at $440 (SOLD).

Antique chest in pale yellow (SOLD)

Springtime.  I love it.  After months of gray and cold (or, if you're here in Atlanta, gray mixed with not-as-gray and cool mixed with somewhat-warm) .... I'm always so happy when spring arrives.  I'm ready for warmth and sunshine and COLOR!  :-)  And there's not a color out there that says spring to me more than yellow.  Especially a soft, buttery yellow like this one.

Yellow is such a happy color, don't you think?  :-)

I love this sweet dresser/chest - I love the size, and how it would work well in so many places.  It would be great as a dresser/changing table in a nursery.  It would be gorgeous with a tv on top in a family room.   And it would be lovely in a kitchen, or dining room, or foyer, or bedroom.  Or sun porch!

Isn't the vintage hardware great?

And the detailing at the bottom....

Can you tell I really like this one?  :-)  I've been trying to figure out where I could use it in my own house.  Alas... my husband has made me promise I'll stop trying to keep each piece I paint.  :) Ah well.  You can't blame a girl for trying.

I've painted this piece in a custom mix of Arles and Old White chalk paint, and the result is a lovely buttery yellow.  Seriously folks - it's an awesome color.  It's even better in person, I think.  Measurements are 42'' long x 35 1/2'' tall x 20'' deep and it's priced at $325 (SOLD).

French dresser in Old White (SOLD)

It's a classic.  :-)

French provincial furniture.  Isn't it great?  So graceful, so timeless.  This is one sweet dresser.  :-)

I really love to distress french provincial pieces.  There are so many awesome curves and bends and details to work with. Aren't the curves along the front gorgeous?

Great hardware...

Gorgeous legs...

And awesome details along the bottom.

One more look at those curves.  :-)

Okay.  Maybe two.

This is a solid wood dresser, made by Drew Furniture.  All six dovetailed drawers work perfectly and have so much character. I've painted this french provincial dresser in Old White and given it a distressed finish and clear wax to protect.  A piece like this is always lovely in a nursery (and could easily double as a changing table), but would be equally beautiful in a guest room, or a child's room, or a master.  It could even be used in a living space to hold a television and provide storage.  Measurements are 53'' long x 32 1'2'' tall x 20'' deep (at the deepest part of the curve), and it's priced at $450 (SOLD).
